What is Nival Impact?
Nival Impact was born from a simple conviction: climbing can be a catalyst for mutual aid and solidarity. From our very beginnings, we have sought to give back what climbing has offered us by supporting meaningful projects.
Through our various actions, we have seen how much its virtues can have a real impact. Nival Impact brings a community together around charitable projects, both in France and internationally.
Our first initiative in 2022
Nival Impact started with a simple idea: to introduce climbing to children who would never have had access to it.
Between 2022 and 2023, we organized several events in Vietnam, allowing dozens of orphans and underprivileged children to climb for the first time.
These moments of discovery marked the starting point of our commitment: to show that climbing can be much more than a sport, a true vector of confidence, joy and sharing.
Our big project 2024
We embarked on a somewhat crazy project: building a climbing gym within the social center of the NGO Maison Chance, in Vietnam.
An ambitious project that now allows more than 200 children to discover and practice climbing regularly.
Named Vertical Chance, this project was entirely funded by Nival and its community, and inaugurated in July 2024.

And today?
Over the years, Nival Impact has supported various charitable initiatives, notably through our participation in events like Grimper en Rose, sending prizes to associations, and donating clothing to the Red Cross and Secours Populaire.
These actions have taken many forms, but they all share the same goal: to use Nival, climbing, and our community to support concrete causes, at our own level.
Taking action for burned forests
In July 2026, in response to the wildfires that severely impacted French forests, Nival chose to mobilize once again. From July 17 to 31, 10% of the revenue generated on nival.fr was donated to the ONF as part of the "Agir pour la forêt" (Acting for the Forest) program.
This initiative marks a new milestone for Nival Impact, reflecting our commitment to also support the protection and restoration of the natural spaces where we practice our activities.
